Rene Sanabria, who at the time was an intelligence advisor to Evo Morales, was caught by the Chilean secret police trying to sell over $5 million worth of cocaine. Sara Villaroel, a prosecutor in the Sanabria case announced, “We have found enough indicators of these crimes to order his arrest.”
