Cuadros assured that his government would not hinder Bolivia’s quest for Pacific access at a time of very low cooperation between Peru and Bolivia. Peruvian President Alan Garcia and Evo Morales have exchanged very harsh words and this gesture may signal an opening in the currently cool Bolivia-Peru relations.
