SIN´s president Roberto Ugarte said only, ¨There will be a fine¨ but did not comment on the amount. Ugarte also said that this might not be the only violation Insumos Bolivia has commited. An Insumos Bolivia spokesperson downplayed the situation saying, ¨What happened is that Insumos Bolivia has had a few difficulties in distributing its sales tax forms in a few trucks that were selling products, it´s just a lack of coordination.¨ Ugarte also said that the other state run food company, EMAPA may also be illegally evading sales taxes.
