The bodies of two grandparents and their grandson were found yesterday in the rural community of Villa Cojata in the mountainous area of the La Paz department. The three had their throats cut and heads bludgeoned. The three Aymara farmers were identified as León Nina Guachalla (63), Lucía Quelali de Nina (over 60) and Ángel Nina Quelali (14). Locals said that most of their livestock has mysteriously disappeared. Bolivia has a low murder rate and three FELCN invetigators were sent to investigate this unusual crime.
