Members of the Conisur march in favor of an Amazonian highway have flown home in three flights provided by the Bolivian air force. Secretary of the San Ignacio de Moxos Regional Workers Center (COR), Walter Colque, said that he was satisfied that the government had listened to their demands and announced that they were flying home on three different flights of the military airline Transporte AƩreo Boliviano. Radio Erbol reports that over 200 people from the Conisur march have been flown back to their homes by the government. By contrast, the indigenous TIPNIS marchers did not benefit from any tax payer funded air travel after their successful march last year.
