« Evo to Meet Opposition Leader Costas | Home | Evo’s Sister’s House Attacked, Death Threats to Evo’s Nephews » Aerosur Airline under Tax InvestigationPosted: admin on Jun 03 | Transportation On June 3rd, Óscar Cámara the director of Bolivia’s director of “Investigation and Social Control of Business” (AEMP) announced that his agency will be investigating Bolivia’s largest private airline, Aerosur for failure to present its financial statements. Cámara said that his lawyers and auditors will be visiting Aerosur on the 8th and will either reprimand or fine the airline. Last week the AEMP denounced that Aerosur had reserved funds from the so called “reserved funds” of ex-presidents Hugo Banzer Suárez and Jorge Quiroga Ramírez and this investigation is also ongoing.
