President Morales traveled to the disaster area on January 29th, and asked the survivors to form a committee so that the government can give them new land and new homes with an investment of several million dollars. The Bolivian Army occupied the zone and set up tents for the homeless families. Morales said to the press, “I understand that this disgrace isn’t the first time, and it appears that our primary opponents are floods and natural disasters.” http://www.abi.bo/# |
